Why does my business need a website?

With over 2.14 billion people expected to buy goods and services online, having a website for your business is more important than ever. Even if you have a bricks and mortar store, when people are looking for products or services like yours, they will usually start online.

As one of the first points of contact a person has with your business, you need to make sure your website is professionally designed, with close attention paid to branding and customer experience. This is the first impression you will give, so it needs to be the best one.

Your website acts just like a bricks and mortar store, displaying your products and services but it goes one step further. It allows you to explain those products and services to your customers, create content that will help them on their buyer journey, display images and testimonials, and allow them to book or purchase from you in an instant – all before you’ve even had any contact with you.

You work hard for your business, so why not let your business do the hard work for you.

What else should I consider when having a website designed?

Our Sydney web design team doesn’t just focus on how your website looks. We also offer the following…

Web Hosting & Domain

We can organise your web hosting to ensure it is set up correctly. We also help you choose the best domain name and purchase the correct ones for your business.

Search Engine Optimisation

Your site design will automatically include SEO elements like mobile-responsiveness, but you can add on SEO Copywriting to ensure your website shows up in Google results.

Website Training

We want you to know how to update your website, so we include a 2 hour session to teach you how to navigate and manage your website once it is handed over.

1. Consultation & contract signing

We’ll get together to discuss what you’re after and talk through ideas and requirements for your new website. We’ll talk you through our process, timelines and what you’ll need to provide. Once we’ve agreed on the requirements of your site, we’ll provide you with a contract to sign and an invoice for the first deposit to get started.

2. Design & registration

Once we start, we’ll register your chosen domain names and set up hosting for you to ensure your website can be found online. Then we start designing the wireframes for your website so you can see the layout and design features.

3. First review

We’ll present you with the first draft and you’ll get to provide feedback. This is also when you’ll need to supply us with any copy you have, images and branding (if it hasn’t already been done by us). If you’ve chosen our SEO copywriting add-on, this is when you’ll see a first draft of your copy to review too.

4. Second review & third review

Once you’ve given us your valuable feedback, we’ll go away and make the necessary changes. Sometimes, this takes 2 or 3 tries, but we promise it’s worth it!

5. Training

Once we’ve signed off on the site, we’ll do a 2 hour training with you to take you through how to manage your site once we’ve handed it over. This might include how to update text, upload images or add new pages. You’ll feel super prepared to look after your website once we’ve finished.

6. Hand over

Once everything has been completed, we’ll set your site live and hand over the reigns to you. We’ll also provide you with all the hosting and domain details for your safekeeping.
